Dean Varun Soni’s speech to the Rotary Club of Beverly Hills
Loving is happiness and happiness is loving. That was the basis of Dean Varun Soni’s speech to the Rotary Club of Beverly Hills April 12. He is the Dean of Religious and Spiritual life at USC. It was very interesting to hear him compare some words of the two thousand plus years of the Bible, i,e,flood, plagues, even locusts to present day.
Anxiety caused by the COVID is rampant and most people are experiencing spiritual loneliness and zoom fatigue. He posed a question asking if you walk away from religion now, what takes its place. He certainly gave us much food for thought and it was appreciated by all.
