The Rotary Club of Beverly Hills provided a generous donation to the nation’s largest child protection agency to provide for the most critical needs of children and youth who are victims of sex trafficking in Los Angeles County. our President, Dr. Sharona R. Nazarian, and our wonderful Co Chairs Lillian Raffel and Rosalinda O’Neill presented the donation to the Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) Program of the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), who works closely with law enforcement and advocates to recover children and provide them with the services and supports they need to heal and overcome the trauma that they have experienced. When exploited children are recovered, they are often found without proper clothing, hungry, sleep deprived, and in need of medical attention. The donations provided by the Rotary Club of Beverly Hills will allow Children’ Social Workers to provide clothing, blankets, food, toiletries, and other items that will bring much needed comfort and care to exploited children and youth during a time of crisis. The CSEC Program presented the Rotary Club of Beverly Hills with a Certificate of Recognition for their generosity, dedication, and support to our society’s most vulnerable children and for joining the effort to end child trafficking.
